in Agadir!
2009-12-15 | Competition is finished and after every competition you just want to get home. Now there is no wind ether so why stay around. I decided to go to Agadir were my flight is going from so I can just be there relax a bit and check out a new place.
I arrived to Agadir yesterday evening. I was suppose to arrive at like 16:00 but after half of the way we stopped for a small break and the buss didn’t start again. So where where sitting there for like 3h or more don’t even remember was sleeping most of the time. So finally in Agadir and I found a good hotel close to the Centrum. Haven’t been exploring too much now but the best thing yesterday was when I saw the big M sign. Usually I don’t eat there but after 10 days same food it was nice with a chicken burger :) And nothing much has happen sins. Can’t wait to go home now and get ready for my next trip. I will be off to Australia in Jan.

Last day of the competition!
2009-12-13 | We are in the last day of the competition. The wind isn’t cooperating with us at all. The skippers meeting was at 9:00 and the wind wasn’t their yet. But we had to wait round to see if it would somehow pick up and be enough to finish the semi finals

Into the semi final
2009-12-12 | The competition just stopped because of no wind. The wind was up for about 1h and that seems to be it for today. But we managed to run a few heats. I was against Leander the 2ond on this tour last year. The heat started and I could barely go upwind and I had so many problems even pulling off some tricks. At the end of the heat I knew I lost because I was even struggling to get upwind the whole heat on my 14m and 139 boards. And when I came to the beach I was ready to scream but i sat down tried to relax myself and took a big breath and I saw the race director coming up to me. He told me don’t worry mike the heat was canceled. Wow did I feel lucky, hell yes. And for the first time they actually canceled because the wind was crap. big big +. So the wind started to kick in and I went in the water with my 12m. And this time I was thinking Mike you got yourself a second chance don’t blow it. So I went out there doing my best and I was not doing to bad I did allot of switch and regular moves. But in the end the wind was dropping again and last 1.5min I wasn’t doing too much. So back at the beach I was worried that the last minute would make me loose. Then we got the result and I won the heat. I was so relived. And guess who was coming and jumping at me Peter :) because I won over Leander, Peter will now be the KPWT world champ. And I can’t be happier for him :) One of my best friends going all the way to WC. congratulations Peter :)

Why not go golfing when there is no wind!!!
2009-12-11 | So last few days we had no luck at all with the wind. Yesterday we went golfing and that was really fun. Believe it or not I can hit the ball haha we went on 4 holes and wow it’s so dam hard to do the putting. Maybe I’ll do it again some time it was allot of fun. Nothing to exiting is going on today ether. But I saw a really cool thing today that I have never thought of before. There were a bunch of local kids at the beach and they were using a buy in the sand to use it as trampoline. First they digged a big hole in the sand so half of the buy could fit there. Then they just jumped on it like it was a trampoline really cool. Some of them came like 3m high and they did screws, double flips and allot of cool stuff.
